Holly lives in Leicestershire with her husband and daughter. You can mostly find her painting in her studio, fuelled by coffee and listening to her favourite podcasts or trance classics!
Drawing has always been Holly's favourite thing. At 17 she was accepted into the art foundation course at De Montfort University a year early on the strength of her portfolio. She then studied BA Illustration & Animation at Kingston University. Life took Holly in an unexpected direction after that, and she found herself climbing a corporate ladder in a business which specialised in tax and employment law. This was most definitely never the original plan or dream!
After COVID, with a toddler in tow and a new-found determination to make her art passion into a career, she established a daily art practice, devoured hours upon hours of information, and taught herself artistic skills, including Photoshop.
Holly loves to use traditional mediums such as watercolour, pencils, ink and gouache which she then works on further in Photoshop. She likes to take a playful approach to creating. Holly finds inspiration in the research and development stage of every project its the point at which the possibilities are endless. She would describe her style as cute, painterly and playful.
